How to use this calculator
Choose the date range, decide whether weekends should be excluded, add any holidays, and read the final workday total.
Choose weekend handling
Toggle whether Saturdays and Sundays are excluded from the count. Most business and contract contexts exclude weekends; construction or shift schedules may not.
Add holiday exclusions
Enter any public holidays or company non-working days in YYYY-MM-DD format, one per line. These are subtracted from the working-day total. The calculator does not fetch public holiday data automatically. You control the list.
Read the working-day total and hours
The result shows total working days and an estimated working-hour total based on an 8-hour day. Use the working-day count in project plans, SLA windows, hiring timelines, or procurement deadlines.
