What this generator is useful for
A good fit when a Discord message contains plot details, game results, sensitive update notes, or anything else that should stay hidden until the reader clicks to reveal it.
- Wrap an entire Discord message in spoiler markup instantly.
- Hide only the selected part of a message when the rest should stay visible.
- Copy clean Discord spoiler syntax without manual marker mistakes.
How spoiler formatting works
Discord hides text when it is wrapped in two vertical bars on each side, so the output only needs to be copied into the message as-is.
- Full-text mode wraps the complete message in one spoiler block.
- Auto mode uses the active selection when one exists, otherwise it safely falls back to wrapping the full text.
- Spoiler formatting is fast to paste into chats, announcement channels, and support threads without learning extra markdown.
- Check multiline spoilers if the hidden content spans several lines, because client rendering can feel slightly different across platforms.
- If readers need the setup sentence to stay visible, partial wrapping is usually better than hiding the entire message.
Assumptions
- Spoiler markers are generated locally in the browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
- Auto mode depends on the current textarea selection if you only want to hide part of the message.
- Discord ultimately controls the final spoiler rendering after you paste the result.
Paste the message first, then decide whether the whole text or just a selected section should be hidden.
If only one part should be hidden, highlight that selection inside the textarea before generating.
Choose the wrap mode if you want to force full-text wrapping every time.
Copy the result and paste it into Discord.
