How to use this planner

Set your focus and break intervals, choose a start time, and generate a full session schedule with milestone times.

  1. Set the focus and break lengths

    Enter your preferred focus block duration in minutes (default 25) and your short break length. For deep work, consider 45–90 minute focus blocks with 10–15 minute breaks.

  2. Set the number of cycles and start time

    Enter how many focus cycles you plan to run and the time you intend to start. The planner distributes all cycles and breaks forward from that start time.

  3. Configure the long break

    Set after how many cycles a longer recovery break should occur and how long it lasts. Set to 0 to disable long breaks for short sessions.

  4. Review the generated schedule

    The result shows each focus block and break with its exact start and end time, total deep-work minutes, and session end time. Adjust inputs if the plan runs past your available window.

How many cycles are ideal?
Most users run 3-6 cycles before a longer recovery break. Plan your most demanding cycles during mid-morning peak alertness, and avoid scheduling focus sessions within two hours of a heavy meal or late at night.
How reliable are the calculated results in this tool?
The result is calculated directly from the values you enter. If the inputs are off, or the real situation differs from the model, the output will drift too. Use it as a solid estimate, then sanity-check it against the specifics of your project when the decision matters.
Are my inputs saved or sent to a server?
Calculations run locally in your browser session for immediate feedback, and no manual form submission is required. If you use export actions, files are generated and downloaded on your device. For sensitive workflows, you can still clear the form and browser data after use.
